High School Youth Group tomorrow! 6:30pm Youth Center

Hey everyone!

 This is just a friendly reminder that we are having Senior LYO youth group tomorrow night, March 15th! We are meeting at 6:30 at the Trinity Youth Center for a fun night of pizza, games and discussion. What are we going to be doing?

Glad you asked! We are going to play the styrofoam cup challenge.

Don't know what that is? Then come to LYO tomorrow night!

Our topic of discussion will be: why does God let pain and evil exist in the world?

Cool Kids this Sunday the 15th, FREE Bowling and mini golf! 2:40-5pm

Hey!

I am so excited because it is almost time for our next COOL Kids! This time we are going on a bit of an adventure! We are meeting this Sunday, March 15th from 2:40-5:00 pm to go bowling and play a little mini golf at Valley Lanes. 

We have some lanes reserved at 3:00 so please arrive a little early so we can get there on time :) After an hour of bowling we will play a round of mini golf and we should be back to the Youth Center right around 5:00. I hope that everyone can make it and we will see you on Sunday!

ELCA National Youth Gathering Sign Up Deadline 3/15

Hey Everyone!

I hope that everyone is surviving this really cold winter. Even though the weather is still quite chilly, the summer is coming up sooner then it would seem. With that, I wanted to let everyone know that the deadline to sign up for the National Youth Gathering is March 15! After that, the Gathering will lock the registration and I won't be able to get anyone else in. We still have more spots for the trip, so please contact me ASAP if you are interested in this trip (especially guys). It is really going to be an awesome experience and it only happens once every three years, so this might be the only time you can check it out. We already have 10 students and 4 leaders planning to go, so you won't be alone!

The Gathering is a five-day event that begins on a Wednesday evening and ends with a service of communion the following Sunday morning. The opening night sets the stage for the days ahead in which young people may have an encounter with Jesus that energizes their faith and helps them discover their call to serve in the world - locally and globally. The Gathering will be held July 15-19, 2015, in Detroit, Mich. 

 As far as cost goes, I am charging everyone who is going $390 for everything on this trip (except spending money). The gathering estimated the cost per person at around $700, but I am planning some fundraisers to keep the cost lower. This trip is open to all current 8th-12th graders as well.

Trinity Youth Ski Trip to Crystal Mountain! March 20-21

Trinity Youth Ski Trip

To Crystal Mountain!!!

March 20-21

Cost: $10

(Cost includes transportation, lodging and breakfast on Saturday. Does not include lift ticket, rental and food at the mountain)

All High School and Middle School Students are welcome to join!

(Parents can join as well)

Who wants to go skiing?! Winter is (hopefully) on its way out so we should take advantage of the cold and have a great youth ski trip!!!

We are heading out at 7 pm on March 20th (please eat before you come). We are spending the night at at a church near the mountain, then hitting the slopes all day on Saturday! We will ski and hang out at the ski lodge for the whole day. We will eat dinner and head out later on Saturday and be back to Midland late Saturday night.

Note: Everyone is on their own for lift tickets and ski rentals. However, if we get more then 15 people signed up, we can get a group rate.

Trinity Teens and High School Len Bible Study Tomorrow, Wed 3/4!

Hey everyone!
 

Tomorrow is a Lent Wednesday so we are going to hang out for Trinity Teens and Senior LYO!!! Pastor Gerald will be meeting everyone for our Trinity Lent Dinner at 5:30, then the then Trinity Teens will be heading out to Midland Area Homes at 6:00 for a little volunteer work building some ramps. The high schoolers are going to hang out with Jordan after dinner for a Lent Bible study. I hope that everyone can make it! See you tomorrow!
